Jim has spent most of his life working in Southern Gospel music, both as singer and promoter. In 1975 he organized The Southmen Quartet, which became one of the most popular groups in the business. Jim served as emcee and was a favorite with fans across the country for his dry sense of humor and down-home style of telling stories; a talent that WAVU listeners enjoy each morning 8:00 till noon.
    Jim is owner of the Solid Rock Talent Agency and Solid Rock Productions, which produces Christian events throughout the southeast. He currently serves as President of the National Southern Gospel Promoters Association and spends his spare time speaking to civic organizations, churches, and senior groups.

    Katye, often referred to as the better half of this husband and wife team, is a favorite with the callers and is heavily involved in the behind the scenes work necessary to produce a great Radio show.
